Windows on Washington Wedding : Laura and Jeff

This was one of the most fun weddings I have ever photographed.  Laura’s family reminds me so much of my own.  They like to joke around and they are extremely close.  It was awesome to start the day off in that kind of atmosphere and it set the tone for the rest of the day.  Laura and Jeff got married at the absolutely gorgeous Old Cathedral in downtown St. Louis (seriously, now one of my favorite churches!).  That day, the Cubs also happened to be in town playing the Cardinals.  So, to say downtown was a little wild that day would be accurate.  It was a day full of excitement and emotions and that is the story I think these images tell.  Every wedding day goes a little different than the next, but the story in these images is what sticks out to me the most.  And that is what I strive for.  Because in 30 years, in 50 years, etc. when your grandkids and great-grand kids are looking at these images, I want them to feel like they were there and they know who you are.  Laura and Jeff, you are an absolutely beautiful couple and full of so much joy.  Thank you for including me in your day!
