About a month ago, I decided to do a little giveaway for a mini session.  There is so much negativity in this world, exasperated by social media and I wanted to bring a little positivity to the table.  I wanted to give a little because I feel so grateful for what I have.  And this is the beautiful family that won!  It was truly such a delight to meet and photograph them.  Their awesome aunt even came along and we snapped some pictures with her too.  You can tell how much they adore her!  Big thank you to this family for entering my giveaway and being just wonderful to work with and thank you, thank you to everyone else who entered.  I plan to do it again in the future!

It’s always a pleasure to see this family!  They are truly the sweetest and I feel lucky that I get to be their photographer.  Thank you for choosing me!  Now scroll on down and check out this magical morning we had, playing in the beautiful light, snuggles, kisses and even some super heroes!  Andddd shameless plug, but if you are looking to get family photos done this Fall, I do have just a few dates left!

Today I have for you a beautiful mama and me session!  If you follow me on instagram @angiemenosphoto, you probably have seen a few sneak peeks of these!  Sometimes I share different images over there so go check it out!  And I’d love to follow you too!  I feel like instagram is where people share more intimate, everyday images these days and you can get a little glimpse into someone’s life (or maybe just their highlight reel).  But, I love it!  Anyways,  these mama and me (or daddy and me!) type of sessions are so sweet because you can really focus on the bond between two individuals in a family.  For this session, mama wanted to dress up and be girly and that they did!  I love the color of their dresses and our gorgeous Forest Park as the backdrop!  Thank you to these two ladies for having me photograph them.  I enjoyed every minute of it with this smart, spunky girl and her beautiful mother!

These three get more and more fun to photograph each year!  This year they were ready with smiles and lots of smooches for one another.  And I have to say, big sister is truly something special.  She is so kind and caring, I have no doubt she will always look after her younger siblings.  I have three siblings myself and so watching and documenting other sibling relationships is fascinating to me.  They are all intricate and different and full of so much love.  It’s a beautiful thing for sure!  Thank you Jasper family for having me photograph your sweet family once again!  It’s always great to see you!

This wedding was the perfect combination of sentimental and all out fun!  There were just as many sweet moments as there was laughter.  And I think this sums up this couple so well.  They care deeply for each other and their friends and family and they love to have a great time!  It was such a pleasure photographing them all day.  I’ve photographed multiple people in this bridal party before so they were basically pros!  It was amazing and so fun.  I felt like a part of the group for sure.  And this was said a few times during speeches at the wedding and I have to share because it is so awesome.  Have you ever heard of the show, What Would You Do? It’s a hidden camera show and they see who will stand up and do the right thing.  Well, Mike was featured on this show for standing up for a mother and daughter who were being heckled in a restaurant for not speaking English.  I actually saw this episode and remember it clearly, years before I even met Mike!  It all clicked during the reception when people were talking about the episode.  I already felt honored to photograph these two but that just put things over the top for me.  These two are such great people and I wish them nothing but happiness!  Mike and Meg, thank you so much for having me capture your day!
