Lafayette Square Engagement : Sarah and Kyle

I cannot really even express how excited I was when Sarah asked me to be their wedding photographer.  I have known Sarah since our college days at Mizzou (yay Alpha Phi!) and she has always been so sweet and supportive of my photography.  When I saw that her and her longtime boyfriend had gotten engaged, I was hoping she might reach out to me! And icing on the cake, they wanted an engagement session as well!  Engagement sessions are so great for getting comfortable in front of the camera and having some nice images of you and your significant other besides your wedding day photos.  I personally really regret not doing an engagement session and need to remedy that soon by setting up a session just for me and my hubby!  Ok, sorry for that little PSA, but I do believe engagement sessions are important.  So, we started off their session in the gorgeous Lafayette Square neighborhood and park.  The homes in this area are so beautiful and we just happened to catch the peak of fall colors in the park!  If that wasn’t perfect enough, we ended the session by going to Clementine’s creamery, the cutest ice cream shop in St. Louis.  Sarah and Kyle, it was so great spending the evening with you guys and I cannot wait for your wedding!
