The Ontis Family

Whenever I get to a session, I always ask if there is anything specific they are looking to capture.  This mom told me she wanted pictures of her family around their home, playing and just being themselves.  She wanted her son to have images of where he grew up as she wasn’t sure how long they would live in this house.  Oh, how I LOVED that answer!  She totally nailed it on the head.  These images aren’t just for her and her husband, they are for Gavin when he grows up, and then after that when he starts a family too.  And images of them playing in their home, tell a much greater story (in my personal opinion) than a stiff, perfectly posed portrait ever could.  So, we played.  And we played hard!  The energy of an almost 3 year-old boy is indescribable.  Let’s just say, I left happy and exhausted.  Ontis family, I hope these are images you will treasure.  Thank you so much for inviting me into your home!
